A Note for Protection

Dear fellow Vigil-keepers,

There have been some concerns as to how to handle certain 'situations' that have occurred at the Site. Here are some suggestion which are applicable to any situation, and remember: “It is not against human Enemies that we have to struggle, but against the Sovereignties and the Powers who originate the darkness in this world, the spiritual army of evil in the Heavens”. Eph. 6: 12 –13 Please pass this on. Thank you and God bless.

Diane

Blessed Salt and Miraculous Medals were handed out to many people on Tuesday night. If we have this Sacramental and the Medal, and what is oftentimes referred to as the World's most Powerful Weapon - the Rosary; and we cover ourselves with prayer (ask God the Father to be an encircling 'Wall of Fire' around us), and ask Our Lady, Queen of the Angels, to surround us with an Army of Military Angels, I am sure that we would all be alright. I suggest that if there is any sort of disturbance, the Vigil-keepers should recite the St. Michael prayer with one difference: St. Michael the Archangel, defend this person, in his/her hour of battle. Be his/her safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God restrain him we humble pray and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell satan, and with him, all the wicked spirits who wander through the world, seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
(This prayer could also be said as soon as one arrives at the Site with this change: St. Michael the Archangel, defend all who will pass this way today/tonight, in this hour of battle. Be their safegard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God etc.

Here is a Prayer of St. Anthony who had many 'run ins' with the devil:

Behold the Cross

“Behold the Cross of the Lord! Begone, you evil powers! The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered. Alleluia!”

One can also carry a small Cross - some of us wear them around our necks as a sign that we belong to Jesus - and in times of persecution simply touch the Cross and say the prayer in your head.

Then, there is the most powerful prayer - simply repeating the name of JESUS, quietly, beneath your breath, - until the situation is rectified.

Another suggestion is that the Vigil-keepers 'plead the Blood of Jesus over themselves, their fellow-Pro-lifers, the entire area where they are, and also over everyone who will approach them. Some Blessed Salt can also be sprinkled over the Site area (very inconspicuously).
As you sprinkle a few grains of the Blessed Salt, you may say this prayer, which can be changed according to the situation. "Lord Jesus, I ask you to let the sprinkling of this Blessed Salt be as if it were the sprinkling of your Precious Blood, and may it dispel the works of the enemy at this Abortuary and at the Site of our Vigil. Amen"
