We require a Part Time Counselor. If you are interested in working in the area of women’s reproductive health, are pro-choice and would like to join our team, this is a part-time position working 5 hours per day Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays to begin immediately. The preferred candidate has excellent patient assessment skills, experience in crisis intervention, and incorporates a woman centered approach to care. Responsibilities:

· Assessment of patients prior to abortion
· Providing information, support, and advocacy for patients
· Discussing any issues that arise in a sensitive and compassionate manner
· Assisting patients with referrals to other relevant social services or health care providers.
· Providing contraceptive counseling

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years of counseling experience or equivalent.
· Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills
· Self motivated and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
· Family planning experience
· University degree in related field required

I don't know if this ad is a result of our vigil campaign or not. It's unlikely, but possible. We don't know. The posting date is October 10. That would have been Day 17 of our campaign.

As for the ad itself, what's required is having good problem solving skills and being self motivated. Yeah, I guess to recommend the crushing of an unborn child, you'd have to be pretty motivated. If that's not the understatement of the year, I don't know what is.

As for shedding innocent blood, I guess now we know what $24/hour was worth 2000 years ago...about 30 pieces of silver.
